2021 Registration
I want to sign up for the Publix Savannah Women's Half Marathon & 5K. Where do I register?
Simply click the Register button in the upper right hand corner of our website where it will take you to our registration platform. Online registration closes on October 6, 2021. Packet Pick-Up is on October 8, 2021 from 11 a.m. – 7 pm. There will be NO race day registration available.
How do I confirm if I am registered for the event?
You can confirm your registration by clicking here or by visiting the Confirm Registration link on our registration page on RaceRoster.com.

Are men allowed to register for the Publix Savannah Women's Half & 5K?
The Publix Savannah Women’s Half Marathon & 5K is a women’s specific event gifts, themes and vendors all being tailored for women. However, men are allowed to register for the event. Men will NOT be eligible to receive any post-race finisher awards (top overall, top age group) in either the Half Marathon or the 5K.
Do you offer team/group registration?
No, we do not have any group registration available at this time.
Are there a limited number of runners allowed at the Publix Savannah Women's Half & 5K.
The Publix Savannah Women’s Half Marathon will be limited to 4,000 runners.
Do you offer police, fire or military discounts for the Publix Savannah Women's Half & 5K?
No. Prices are as advertised on our registration website.
Do you offer a VIP ticket for the Publix Savannah Women's Half & 5K?
If I completed the 2020 virtual race and register for the 2021 race, am I automatically eligible for the Square 2 Square Challenge?
If you ran virtually in the 2020 race and register for the 2021 race in October (in person or virtual), you are good to go and do not need to do anything extra to be eligible.
Changes/Refunds
I registered for the Publix Savannah Women's Half & 5K but now I can't participate. Can I receive a refund?
I purchased registration insurance, who do I contact to process a claim?
All questions regarding registration insurance must go through Ticket Guardian. Contact Ticket Guardian at (844) 849-4827. You should have received an email from Ticket Guardian when you registered that contains your policy number, which you will need when processing a claim.
I registered but now I cannot participate. Can I transfer my registration to someone else?
Yes, we offer transfers to new participants. Our transfer fee is $15 for all transfers to new participants. Click here to transfer.
I want to change to a different race than the one I originally registered for. How do I change that?
Yes, you can transfer to a different event (half marathon to 5K or vise versa) by visiting our transfer page or by clicking here. Transfers are $15 and if you are upgrading from the 5K to half marathon, you will pay the difference in fees from what you paid for the 5K to what the current price of the half marathon is now. There will be no refunds for downgraded transfers (half marathon to 5K).

Does the Publix Savannah Women's Half Marathon & 5K have a time limit for the course?
Yes, both races have a time limit. Participants of the Half Marathon must complete the course in less than 4 hours. The 5K participants must complete the course in less than 1 hour.
What happens in the case of inclement weather?
Where can I find pictures and/or results from the race?
Are walkers welcome at the Publix Savannah Women's Half & 5K?
Yes, walkers are welcome at the Savannah Women’s Half Marathon & 5K. We ask that walkers please make sure you enter the correct estimated finish time so that we may place you in the appropriate corral.
Are strollers allowed at the Publix Savannah Women's Half & 5K?
Yes, however it MUST be a jogging stroller. This is for each runner’s safety and to help with pace. Please position yourself appropriately at the start line to limit hazard during the start.
Are dogs allowed at the Publix Savannah Women's Half & 5K?
No, dogs are NOT allowed at the Savannah Women’s Half Marathon & 5K.
Is there an age limit for the Publix Savannah Women's Half & 5K?
Our age groups range from Under 19 to 70 and over. The half marathon has an age limit of 12 and 5K has age limit of 6.
Can I bring my personal music player or phone with me on the course?
Yes, the Savannah Women’s Half Marathon & 5K currently allows the use of personal music players.
How do I return to my car after the race is over?
Forsyth Park is located on the south end of Savannah’s Historic District with plenty of parking in the surrounding area. All of the Historic District falls within a 15 minute walking window of Forsyth Park. Savannah offers plenty of parking options around the city so visit www.savannahga.gov for more information.
Is there space for family members and friends to watch me along the course?
Yes, spectators can watch the race along the route and will be able to cross the route in designated areas when runner traffic is low.
Where do I park for the race?
There are an abundance of parking garages around the city that are a convenient walk from the start and finish line area in Forsyth Park. There is also on street parking available around the city. For more information on race day parking options, please click here >> RACE DAY PARKING
Is the event timed?
Yes. Both the Savannah Women’s Half Marathon & 5K are timed using DELMO Sports. Participants will be able to view their results through our event app or on website after the race at www.SavannahWomensHalf.com. Timing does not start till participants cross the start line.
Is there a charity partner for the Publix Savannah Women's Half & 5K?
Yes, the Savannah Women’s Half Marathon & 5K donates money to multiple charities involved with the event, but our official charity for the race is Girls on the Run of Coastal Georgia. For a list of our charities and how to donate yourself, please click here.
Can I volunteer for the event?

Packet Pick-Up
When and where do I pick up my race bib and timing chip?
Can someone else pick up my race packet for me?
COPY of valid photo ID for the person whose packet the other is picking up
What do I need to bring with me to pick up my packet?
Please provide either your confirmation email or a valid photo ID. Anyone under the age of 18 is not required to show an ID as long as they have a confirmation email.
If I can't make it to the Fashion Fitness Expo on Friday, is there a race day packet pick up option available?
Yes, we will have race day packet pick-up available on race morning at the Solutions tent from 6:15 – 7:15 a.m. in Forsyth Park near the start line.
COVID-19
When is the 2021 Publix Savannah Women's Half?
The 2021 Publix Savannah Women's Half will take place on Saturday, October 9, 2021
Do I still get my medal, bib and participant gift for the virtual 2021 race?
We will mail out medals, bibs and participant gifts after the race day on October 9, 2021
I have a VIP registration will that be transferred to the new date?
Please contact Katelyn Presti at SavWomensHalf@VisitSavannah.com for available options.
I already booked my hotel, what do I do?
If you booked your accommodations with our official event housing partner GameTime Travel (GTT), please use the CANCEL RESERVATION link found in your GTT Guest Confirmation Email Receipt to cancel and rebook.
If you didn't use our official housing partner then you will have to contact your hotel directly to figure out accommodations / cancellations.
What happens to my 2021 registration if the race is cancelled due to COVID-19?
With sensitivity to current world events, we are instituting a "worry free" registration policy for the 2021 Publix Savannah Women’s Half Marathon & 5K.
Please note, if the October 9, 2021 Publix Savannah Women’s Half Marathon & 5K cannot be conducted due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, all participants will be eligible for a 100% one-time free deferral for any of the Publix Savannah Women’s Half Marathon & 5K’s between 2021-2023.
The Publix Savannah Women’s Half Marathon & 5K “no refunds” policy will still be in effect if the 2021 Publix Savannah Women’s Half Marathon is not conducted.

If the 2021 Publix Savannah Women’s Half Marathon & 5K is unable to be conducted in any form, all registrants will be eligible for a voucher that they will be able to redeem for a free entry into one future Publix Savannah Women’s Half Marathon & 5K through the year 2023.

A virtual run for 2021 (if necessary) will also be offered, but registrants will not be able to choose both the virtual run and the deferral.

The event’s “no refunds” policy will still be in effect, as we are still unable to offer any refunds for any reason.

The voucher will be assigned to the registered participant and can only be redeemed by that participant, it cannot be transferred to another person except through the normal transfer option which has a $15 fee.

Vouchers are only for REGISTERED participants of 2021 event. If you have previously registered for the 2021 event you are automatically included in this program.

Any event add-ons such as the VIP Program that a registrant has attached to their registration will not be included and you will receive a refund for that purchase.

If the Publix Savannah Women’s Half Marathon & 5K is conducted for either year, no vouchers will be offered for that year.
If the race is cancelled on the morning of October 9, 2021 due to weather, the normal cancellation policy will apply and no deferrals will be offered for future races.
The 2021 rescheduled race date does not work for me, what are my options?
We understand the rescheduled date does not work for everyone and if you are not able to join us on October 9, we are happy to offer you the option to defer your 2021 registration to a future year or change your registration to the virtual race.
