Run from Anywhere
Running a virtual race allows you to pick your path and get your miles in on your own time! Virtual races can be done around the neighborhood, a local course of your choosing, or even on the treadmill! The only rule is that the race must be completed in a single run (just like a real race).
All the Details
HOW DOES A VIRTUAL RUN WORK?
• Print out your Virtual Runner bib (optional)
• Track your run with a virtual fitness tracker (Fitbit, Strava, Runkeeper, etc.)
• Complete the virtual 13.1-mile race (Half Marathon) or 3.1 - mile race (5K) and submit proof through the Virtual Run Submission Link between April 4, 2020, and November 21, 2020.
How do I submit proof? Just take a screenshot or a picture of your run results from your fitness tracker!
• Receive your FINISHER'S MEDAL and participant bag in the mail a week after the on-site race on November 21, 2020.
Note: Virtual participants will not be eligible for age group or overall awards.
DO I HAVE TO RUN ON NOV. 21, 2020?
No, you can plan a run any time between April 4 – November 21, 2020.
WHERE DO I RUN?
Participants choose their own race course. Virtual races give you the flexibility to run where it’s convenient for you! Just make sure you hit the correct distance. We also ask that you do not run in groups, per the CDC recommendations during social distancing times.
WHAT WILL I RECEIVE FOR THE VIRTUAL RACE?
You will receive a printable Virtual Runner bib before the race (optional). All race materials will be mailed to participants who partake in the Virtual Race no matter when the participant completed their race.
