Changes/Refunds FAQs
We are unable to offer refunds. You are able to defer or transfer your registration.
Defer:
You can defer your bib through 11:59pm EST on March 30th. Race deferrals will be a $30 fee which will be paid upon re-registration (email instructions will be sent once registration opens for the next year's event). To complete a deferral, please read through this FAQ.
Transfers:
You are able to transfer your bib through 11:59pm EST on March 16th and the recipient will have until 11:59pm EST March 30th to complete the remaining steps of the registration transfer. Transfers to another person are $25. To complete a transfer, please read through the FAQ here.
All 5K and Half Marathon deferrals from the 2025 event have been transferred into RunSignUp and an email has been sent regarding claiming your 2026 registration. If you did not receive an email, please email events@goraceproductions.com.
VIP passes are non-transferrable and non-deferrable.
Yes. You can switch from the 5K (in person or virtual) to the Half Marathon (in person or virtual) and vice versa. If there is any difference in pricing between the event you're registered for and the event you're transferring into, you will have to pay the difference in pricing between the two.
To Complete An Event Transfer:
*Log in to your RunSignup profile (make sure you're using the email address you registered with), navigating to Profile > Upcoming Events > Manage Registration > Transfer Event.
*On the Transfer Event page, you will be shown your Transfer Information. Please confirm the information is correct and accurate. To transfer this registration, you must go through the registration process for the new event. You can confirm Transfer by clicking on the "Start Transfer" button.
*Once payment (if needed) is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email for the new event.
